I was back in NY this past 2009 twice for my first visit I was down in Spanish Harlem around 151 E. 116 st if I'm not wrong & I was standing in front a salsa record shop there when out of nowhere 3 Savage Nomads rolled up. I was surprised to see these guys are still around & glad it's a slow dying piece of NY history. Real NY b4 the corps. moved in. I'm a fan of NY gangs culture & how far they date back. I also enjoy NYC graffiti history it's a part of NY & without it NY wouldn't be what it is today & with out it to me NY isn't the same....
What WAS the flyer for?? Who ever thought this nice dude would get rid of lots of flyers was either creazy or a genuis. The jacket is too much!!
ReplyDeleteIt was a flyer for a psychic reading place on 58th Street.

ReplyDeleteI don't think you can copy those photos. Not sure what you would do it anyway. It's from several several years ago.

ReplyDeleteI like the gangs too. You don't see them on 5th Avenue very often.
