It's easy to imagine that some awful NYC crime was committed here on the stairway down to the subway platform.Look closer all around the yellow tape and what do you see? All those dark spots. No it's not blood, it's gum! It's a crime the way people throw or spit their gum on the cement. I'm not exactly saying we need to enact laws like they had in Singapore, but there's got to be a way to get people to stop spitting their gum out.
