$1,000 Breakfast

Screw the recession, I'm having a $1,000 breakfast!

Ok, of course I didn't get The Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata (Supersize with 10 oz. Sevruga Caviar). But I did have a decent breakfast at Norma's at Le Parker Meridien. It's my favorite meal of the day and it's right around the corner. I had the Scrambled Eggs and Bacon Breakfast Quesedilla. It was good but I really should have gone with my first inclination which was the Nova Lox or the Hash. But sometimes I do love Mexican flavors. Bottom line is that they do have a terrific breakfast there and anything you order is delicious. I would love to go there more often than I do, which really isn't that often. They serve breakfast from early to late - 7AM to 3PM - which fits my schedule just about perfectly.

I've been on this electroclash thing lately which is kind of lame since isn't that whole genre kinda over? Nevertheless, I really like this song and you should too. The video is innovative and just the type I like for a day like today. The song is "We Won't Break" by Zoot Woman. I recommend watching full screen, full blast, in high quality. Their new album "Things Are What They Used To Be" comes out on August 21st. Great title.

I would much rather go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and listen to the Clash mid volume. I guess I'm just old fashioned, but I'm okay with it. :-)

Well, the Clash is old. Though I liked Rude Boy, I am looking for new stuff to like.

i'd go for wild mushroom omelet.

Yes, that sounds good too. The other side of the menu is just as good!

I've never heard of that band & don't know much about their genre, but anyone who can do THAT with "He-mo-Bo" (as I nicknamed him when I stole his huge art book from the campus library--years b/4 giving it back, mind you)is worth knowing about. Awesome video, esp. the guy on the bike, so inspired!

I like the guy on the bike too! It's like me on my bike. I think I need a cap. http://www.rapha.cc/products/hats-and-caps

When I went to Madrid in April/May, I made sure that I saw all of his work at The Prado. So excellent. I liked The Hay Wagon.

1515 was a good year.
